SECQAI is part of the UK Government’s inaugural ChipStart UK semiconductor incubator

SECQAI is being incubated by the ChipStart UK programme, funded by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, and delivered by SiliconCatalyst UK to support its growth in becoming a future global chip leader.

London, UK – SECQAI is part of the inaugural cohort of UK semiconductor companies being incubated as part of the UK government’s ChipStart UK pilot programme, which aims to grow the next generation of homegrown chip leaders.

SECQAI joins the programme alongside another 11 innovative semiconductor companies which is being delivered by the world’s most experienced semiconductor startup accerelator, SiliconCatalyst UK. The bespoke programme provides the cohort with semiconductor specific expertise which can be difficult to access for early-stage startups, including investor networking, commercial expertise, and access to chip design tools, all with support from SiliconCatalyst’s large number of strategic and in-kind partners.

The ChipStart UK programme is a key initiative to advance the 20-year vision put forward in the UK National Semiconductor Strategy. ChipStart UK will help to grow local chip firms and further advance the country’s design, R&D and compound Semiconductors skills.

"It’s a privilege to be a part of this flagship initiative from the UK Government. This support will accelerate our work in building the semiconductor fabric to protect businesses and nation states alike from the next generation of threats," said Rahul Tyagi, CEO and Co-founder of SECQAI.
