SECQAI, Boston Limited, Intelligent Voice and Oxford Quantum Circuits (OQC) Secure co-funding from Feasibility Studies in Quantum Computing Competition

London, UK – SECQAI, Boston Limited, Intelligent Voice and Oxford Quantum Circuits (OQC), pioneers in their respective fields, are delighted to announce that they have collectively secured co-funding from the Feasibility Studies in Quantum Computing competition. The co-funding, provided by Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency, will contribute to the groundbreaking initiatives of these four organisations in quantum computing research and development.

Aligned with the government's National Quantum Strategy, outlining “a 10-year vision and actions for the UK to be a leading quantum-enabled economy”, the Feasibility Studies in Quantum Computing competition marks a significant milestone in the development of the potential of quantum technologies for the UK's prosperity and security.

Quantum computing is opening up alternative techniques for building AI, which are not necessarily available on classical architectures, including the training of models with less data. Recognising the transformative nature of this technology with its wide range of applications, SECQAI leads the collaboration with Boston Limited, Intelligent Voice and OQC to advance the frontiers of quantum computing. Through their combined efforts, they aim to accelerate the development of innovative quantum computing solutions, taking the first steps towards a Quantum Artificial General Intelligence (QAGI).

"We are thrilled to have secured co-funding from the Feasibility Studies in Quantum Computing competition, which acknowledges the immense potential of quantum technologies in pushing towards QAGI," said Rahul Tyagi, CEO and Co-founder of SECQAI. "As separate organisations, SECQAI, Boston Limited, Intelligent Voice and OQC are committed to working together and pooling our individual strengths to push the boundaries of quantum computing. This co-funding will accelerate our research and innovation, bolstering the UK's position in the quantum computing landscape."

Dr Ilana Wisby, CEO of OQC said, "We are thrilled to be part of this initiative. It is exciting to consider the potential that quantum computing has to fuel beneficial advances in the movement towards an Artificial General Intelligence."

SECQAI Boston Limited, Intelligent Voice and OQC each bring unique expertise and capabilities to the joint effort. By combining their expertise, they foster knowledge exchange, drive innovation and contribute to the economic growth and security of the UK.

"We have always been at the forefront of technological advancements and this collaboration in the quantum computing space not only allows us to develop our ever-expanding talent pool, but further solidifies our commitment to delivering tomorrow's technology today,” commented Manoj Nayee, Co-founder and Managing Director at Boston Limited.

Similarly, Nigel Cannings, CTO of Intelligent Voice, commented, “Working with Boston, Intelligent Voice pioneered GPU-accelerated speech technology almost 10 years ago.  We are delighted to work with them again on the next truly transformative technology.”
