What the job involves
Initially focused on building a highly performant, customer facing API as part of one of our government awarded grants. In general, you’ll be undertaking the full stack development of scalable front-end interfaces and back-end services
You’ll then contribute to the build of a variety of critical software components related to our broader semiconductor product portfolio, including out Neural Network accelerators and our secure System on Chip
You’ll collaborate with experts across our team to ensure high quality, customer focused product is developed
This is a hybrid role, with a mixture of working from home and in the office. We know how important it is to build in a customer-centric way, so you may be asked to travel to meet SECQAI’s customers and partners in person

Who you are
Required:
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field
You’re inquisitive and a self-starter. You love learning, solving problems outside of your comfort zone, starting new things and taking them through to production, all the while learning from your mistakes
You have a solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals
You are flexible and can move quickly in an organisation where there can competing priorities or deadlines
You are proficient in Python and/or C++ programming
You enjoy collaborating with and supporting a wide range of peers and mentor
You set a high bar for your own work (both how it works, and how it looks)
Desirable
You have a strong desire to make the world a safer and more secure place through the development of the next generation of technology
You have experience with various authentication types and building services that scale API requests
You are familiar with the end-to-end delivery of API projects
You are proficient in both front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java)
You have experience and understanding of the commercial AI and NLP development pipeline and their deployment
You have deep knowledge of the SDLC, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (including, e.g. scripting, test automation, and rapid development cycles)
You have been exposed to a service-based architecture, such as microservices, and the implications for API deployment
